WHAT ARE BANK REO PROPERTIES?
Real Estate Owned Property owned by a lender - usually a bank - after an unsuccessful sale at a foreclosure auction. If the property is real estate owned, the bank will then go through the process of trying to sell the property on its own. It will try to remove some of the liens and other expenses on the home, and then try to sell it on the market. Real estate investors will often go after these properties as banks are not in the business of owning homes and, in most cases, the house can be bought at a discount to its market value. The opportunity investors have in working with McLeod & Associates is the fact that we have a direct access to not only one or two REO opportunities but BULK REOs, which very few real estate brokerages have. We are able to streamline investment timeframes and move efficiently because of our access. Our clients will not be beholden to what is thrown at them, instead, each client will have the opportunity of choosing from a list of current inventory from all over the country. If you've ever wondered how you can take advantage of REOs or would like to learn about how this process works, please attend our FREE "Property Preview Showcase." |
